For more than three decades, my path has centered on real estate, private lending, family office operations, and strategic investments.

My interest in investing started early. I still remember sitting in electronics class in 1986, talking with my friend Kevin and saying, “Imagine having $1 million earning 10% while you slept. That’s $100,000 a year. You could live off that.” The principle and theory never changed, what did change is that you need more zeros.

I began in real estate in 1991, later helped establish a family business in 1997, and expanded into private and asset-based lending in 2010. Over time, that path grew into DSM Solutions Inc., focused on finding opportunities, building relationships, and connecting capital with capable people and businesses.

Today, my focus spans real estate, lending, strategic partnerships, and private investments. I co-founded Bushwood Productions (Spirits) in 2017 and serve as Chairman of the Board. I serve on the Board of Directors for BRC Racing, previously served on the board of The Loft Lake Tahoe, was 1 of 10 founding members of Newport Beach headquartered NDetail Capital, and most recently invested in Sturdy Sauce, where I helped raise seven-figure seed capital.

Being a forward thinker and knowing my shortcomings, I tried to surround myself with people smarter than me. Networking has always been one of my strongest suits, not just meeting people, but knowing how to connect the right people at the right time. The common thread is simple: strong relationships, disciplined risk-taking, and a long-term view. Whether the opportunity is in real estate, lending, consumer packaged goods, entertainment, racing, or technology, I look for capable people, clear strategy, and ideas with room to grow. Making money while you sleep is paramount but if you can do it while boating with family and friends, that also works.
